NDÎ-NCHOUT PÂMOM
NDÎ-NCHOUT PÂMOM — whose name means in the Bamoun language "The house of the children of Pamom" — is a non-profit association bringing together young people of the Bamoum tribe from Western Cameroon living, studying and working in Germany.
Founded by young people passionate about their culture and eager to maintain fraternal bonds far from their homeland, the association is open to all young Bamouns or supporters of Bamoum culture on German soil.

The Bamoum Kingdom
The Bamoum Kingdom (or Bamoun) is one of the oldest and best-preserved kingdoms in central Africa. Founded in the 14th century, it is located in the Western Region of Cameroon, with Foumban as its capital.
Renowned for its art, craftsmanship and unique culture, the Bamoum people are also famous for inventing their own writing system — the Bamoun script (A-KA-U-KU) — created by Sultan Ibrahim Njoya at the beginning of the 20th century.
Proud heirs of this ancient culture, the members of NDÎ-NCHOUT PÂMOM are committed to making it shine on German soil.
