Our History

Who are we?

NDÎ-NCHOUT PÂMOM is an association that brings together young people of the Bamoum tribe from Western Cameroon living, studying and working in Germany.

Heirs of one of the greatest kingdoms of Central Africa, the Bamoum Kingdom founded in the 14^th century in the city of Foumban, we are proud to carry on this rich culture on German soil.

Our association promotes solidarity, academic and professional mutual aid, while preserving our cultural heritage.

Our Objectives

Solidarity & Mutual Aid

Build a solidarity network among members to support each other in difficult times and celebrate successes together.

Culture & Identity

Promote and perpetuate the rich Bamoum culture in Germany: languages, traditions, arts and ancestral values.

Academic Development

Support students in their university journey: guidance, experience sharing and moral support.

Professional Integration

Facilitate professional integration into the German job market through the association's network.

Savings & Djangui

Organize a rotating savings system to encourage collective saving and finance members' personal projects.

Relief Fund

Establish a relief fund to support members facing financial or personal difficulties.

Cultural Events

Traditional celebrations that strengthen our Bamoum identity.

Sports & Social Activities

Outings and team-building activities to strengthen brotherhood among members.

Monthly Djangui

Rotating savings system allowing each member to receive a pooled sum.

Mutual Aid Fund

Distribution of financial support for members in need.

Mentoring & Guidance

Support for newcomers: administrative steps, housing, university enrollment.
